About the Event
About
Belgenny Farm is part of the original 2000-hectare Camden property granted to John Macarthur in 1805. Here you will see the oldest group of farm buildings in Australia.
Join the Friends of Belgenny Farm in their annual open day.
Experience a variety of exciting activities, including captivating demonstrations by the 73rd Regiment of the Red Coats.
There is traditional sheep shearing, thrilling dog trials, witness the artistry of blacksmithing, enjoy the skill of whip cracking, and take part in informative tours of Macarthur Cemetery and the surrounding historic sites.
Savour the taste of freshly made damper, indulge in delicious CWA (Country Women's Association) scones with Devonshire tea, and a hearty barbecue or a restaurant-style lunch.
Don't miss the coffee vans, local artisans showcasing their crafts, and vibrant market stalls.
Families can delight in the petting zoo, while steam and machinery displays offer a glimpse into the past, all accompanied by live music.
All proceeds will be directed toward the preservation and upkeep of the historical structures at Belgenny Farm.
