About

The Australian Rugby Shield is the pinnacle national XV-a-side community rugby representative tournament, with the best of the best community rugby players from around the country converging for a week-long tournament. Senior men's and women's teams from QLD Country, NSW Country, QLD Suburban, NSW Suburban, ACT and Southern NSW, Tasmania, South Australia and Defence Forces compete and have the opportunity for talent identification to higher honours.
