TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS

The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is Australia's largest marathon and the sole remaining participant legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Owned by Athletics Australia and managed by Pont3, the event is a 'Hallmark Event' supported by the NSW Government via Destination NSW.  In 2024, the marathon joined the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors, becoming one of only seven elite global marathons alongside Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City.  The event attracts runners from over 100 countries and has raised nearly AUD30 million for charity since its inception. The event is committed to accessibility, with a growing focus on participant diversity, accessible venue design, and an ongoing partnership with Wheelchair Sport NSW.
