Shellharbour SUP Festival

The Shellharbour SUP Shellharbour will feature three days of exciting SUP flat water races, SUP surfing, market stalls, food trucks and entertainment. A Welcome to Country opens the festival each morning. Friday kicks off at Warilla Beach for the anticipated SUP surfing heats and semi-finals. Finals will be held Saturday morning, crowning the winners of the men's and women's divisions of all age categories, followed by the heart-racing BOP race. Sunday is the celebration of SUP with a range of activities at Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra including the presentation for all competitive events. Winners will be presented with trophies and prize money. All competitors will be in the running for prizes including brand new paddle boards! Enjoy the entertainment, vendor stalls, activity stations, food trucks and sponsor marquees, Welcome to Country, SUP Yoga & Sound bath experience. There is a dress-up themed novelty course for beginner to intermediate paddlers on inflatable paddle boards designed for all abilities. The more serious paddle boarders will be racing 9 kilometres on Lake Illawarra. SUP Dragon boats, SUP sprint racing & "Pups on SUPs" will round off the day's paddle boarding events. Everyone is invited to enjoy the festivities. The main stage will feature a guitarist, local school band and head liner rock band.
