Wentworth Show

As always, the Wentworth Show offer a great family day out for visitors and locals alike highlighting country living. Displays in the magnificent Wentworth Showgrounds Community Pavilion include cookery, preserves and produce, floral art, fine arts, photography, needlework and school displays.   A Feast for the Senses food and wine marquee will feature a wide variety of tastings and sales for both food and wine. There will be Horses in action, sheep and wool displays, ute competition and shearing competitions, sheep and yard dog trials, trade exhibits and side shows. There's a treasure hunt to amuse the children, while the animal nursery and Meccano display are also popular.  Junior Miss Showgirl, whip cracking and the popular dog jumping to create a special atmosphere at this unique country show; with the usual show rides and show food vans. This is the biggest annual event in the Wentworth Region.  One of the nation's few remaining authentic country shows that manages to retain its rustic, rural flavour in a relaxed atmosphere whilst catering to an increasingly wide variety of tastes.   For more entry information, please visit the website.
