Your usual doctor (GP) or another specialist might give you a referral to see us. Your care may involve tests, medicines, or medical procedures.

General physicians can help you with a complex list of medical problems that need specialist input.

You may also see a general physician before or after you get surgery.

Patients who have come through the Emergency department will undergo initial tests to help form a diagnosis for admission.
