Audiologists are hearing specialists who look at hearing health. 

Our services

Our visiting Audiology service can help with:

• frequent middle ear problems
• discharging ears
• difficulty hearing
• hearing assessment for children with speech and language delays
• full hearing assessment if recommended after your health check
• support to families, carers, educators, and health practitioners concerned about hearing.

We work in collaboration with visiting Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists. You may be referred to our ENT specialist for review and treatment.

Healthy Hearing

All babies born in Queensland receive a free hearing screening through the Healthy Hearing newborn screening program. Learn more about the Healthy Hearing Program on the Children’s Health Queensland website.

Hearing aids

Hearing aid services are also available through Hearing Australia. For more information, speak to your local Health care team.
