Antarctic Going, Going Gone? | Mick Brennan

A personal response to a place that has long captivated Brennan's imagination. Presenting a combination of photographs, mixed media works and acrylic paintings. Antartica is a bucket list journey for many - a destination unlike any other, defined by its beauty and extreme isolation. As a boy, Mick was captivated by tales of explorers who braved the harsh extremes of both the North and South Poles. Their courage and determination sparked a lifelong fascination with the polar regions. In 2022, Mick was incredibly fortunate to turn that childhood dream into reality and experience the icy wilderness of Antarctica firsthand. Brennan hopes to bring to life, his first hand experiences and reflections of how fragile the place is and what humans can lose if we don't act now.
