card playing afternoon

we are a group of dedicated card players who seem to come rain hail or shine.  different tables play different card games.  Marie Murry is the coordinator.  she is at the first table inside the function room door at Mackay Bowls Club, corner of Nebo Rd & George St.  learners welcomed.  arrival ( & registration $2 ) from 11.30am to start at noon.  afternoon tea about 2pm ( no extra charge ) to finish at 3.30pm after the school traffic has gone.  raffles tickets available.  not bad prizes.  holds a xmas party in december each year.  wheelchair accessible and airconditioned.  become a Mackay 50s & Better member for $5 which lasts until 31st december 2023 and enjoy many additional benefits.  you will receive a sample newsletter first, listing all our activities, details etc.  and then a newsletter will be posted to you every 2 months.
