About

The Flinders Ranges Council is proud to partner with Rural Aid to bring you "A Night Under the Stars" in the Quorn Arts Precinct on 24 May 2025. This event is about supporting farmers, families and community by providing a little bit of relief – even if only for one night. Come along for a night of free entertainment, food, refreshments and access to drought support services and information. The night kicks off with an inspirational talk from Whyalla local Terry Ledgard in the Quorn Town Hall – former SAS medic, Afghanistan veteran, medic/dive supervisor, internationally published author and so much more – listen to Terry's entertaining, humorous and sometimes shocking story. Information and service providers will be set up in the precinct for farmers and others to stop and have a chat. You will be treated to a steady flow of live music from local artists and bands including David Hughes, Jas Kimber, Ethan Davis and headline act Station Blues. Kids will be kept entertained with RICE services, games and more. FREE BBQ, drinks and other refreshments will also be on offer during the evening. Please BYO chair and alcohol. This is a Connecting Communities Event sponsored by the Department of Primary Industries and Regions under the Family and Business Support Program.
