About
Immerse yourself in the lives of those who lived, created, loved, and lost in Waller House.
Visitors are invited to embark on a 45-minute immersive tour of Waller House, the Arts and Crafts home and studio of renowned artists Christian and Napier Waller, Klytie Pate, and Lorna Waller.
This exclusive tour offers insight into the stories, architectural features, and collection items uncovered by the National Trust team and volunteers as they continue to research, document, and preserve this significant property.
Napier and Christian Waller's murals, mosaics, and stained glass artworks adorn many of Melbourne's most prominent buildings, with their work represented in major galleries. Their Ivanhoe home and studio remains intact as a memorial, offering a rare glimpse into their artistic world.
Recognised on the Victorian Heritage Register, the Waller House and Collection encompass all interior and exterior buildings, fixed and movable objects, and the heritage-listed garden. This is a rare opportunity to explore an extraordinary piece of Victoria's artistic and cultural history.
Waller House is located in a residential area. The address will be provided on booking.
This event is held as part of the Australian Heritage Festival (Victoria).
