Daylesford Christ Church Concert Series

Come and enjoy exquisite chamber music concerts in the intimate and beautiful setting of historic Christ Church Anglican Church in Daylesford. Concerts also occasionally take place in heritage-listed Stanbridge Hall. The next concert will feature Savage vs Zhislin: Virtuoso String Duet. This concert is an exciting addition to the 2025 series. Daylesford welcomes back Australian-born London-based violinist Patrick Savage for a special evening event, following his highly successful "Lost Gems from the Golden Age of Hollywood" show last May. Patrick has performed on many world stages as a guest concertmaster, soloist and chamber musician, and was a former principal of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He will be joined by the phenomenal Yuri Zhislin, a celebrated violinist and viola virtuoso who directs the London Tchaikovsky Camerata and is a professor for violin and viola at the Royal College of Music. Together, they will present a joyful and entertaining program of violin and viola duets, featuring works by Mozart, Handel, Halvorsen, Martini, Glière, Bartók, and Prokofiev.
