As part of the Grampians Fine Wine Festival, Best's Wines in Great Western, are offering a rare vertical wine tasting experience.
Join Best's talented winemakers Jacob Parton and Dom Bolton for this vertical wine tasting experience.
Best's Wines historic underground cellars have been explored and a few gems from our museum wine collection have been brought to light, taste Rieslings and Shiraz across a number of years.
Jacob and Dom are pleased to be showing six Rieslings, featuring a 2012 E.V.T 51 Riesling, the first vintage of wine now called the Foudre Ferment Riesling.
As well as a rare look at the 2022 Foudre Ferment Riesling vintage. This wine won the highly coveted 2022 Halliday Wine of the Year as 'Best wine in Show' and 'Best Riesling of the Year.' The 1970 Bin 0 Hermitage starts your vertical Shiraz journey as Jacob and Dom taste through a selection of Shiraz from the last 20 odd years. Best's Bin No. 0 Shiraz from 2012 and a few in between 2021. Best's Bin No. 0 Shiraz wine style was recently deemed as "Classified" in Langton's Classification of Australian VIII. Previously known as "Outstanding" in the 2018 Classification VII.
Entry Cost
All tickets $180 - Enjoy the unique experience of tasting of Best's museum and back vintage wines and share a grazing platter with some like-minded wine enthusiasts.
