St Mary's Christmas Parade

Each year, St Mary's Primary School proudly hosts the St Mary's Christmas Parade as its major community event, bringing festive cheer and local spirit to the heart of Hamilton. With a rich history spanning over 30 years, the parade has become a much-loved tradition that unites families, friends, and visitors in celebration. The parade winds its way along Gray Street, beginning near Gray Street Primary School and concluding at the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre on Brown Street. Drawing crowds of over 1,500 people, the event features colourful floats, joyful performances, and plenty of Christmas magic. It's a fantastic way to kick off the festive season and showcase the vibrant community spirit that defines Hamilton.
