Grazing and Gazing

Join in for an unforgettable evening of fine food and stargazing at Balgownie Estate, in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Victoria (ASV). The night begins with a shared dining feast on long communal tables, offering a selection of seasonal dishes to enjoy at a leisurely pace. As you dine, volunteers from the ASV will provide a presentation about the celestial wonders you'll be viewing later in the evening. After dinner, you'll be guided through the night sky, with telescopes set up by ASV members to offer a closer look at a range of celestial sights. From globular star clusters to nebulae, and even galaxies beyond our own, this unique blend of visual observing and live stacking will give you a chance to experience the cosmos in a way that few have. They recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes as you will be walking on our front lawn to get to the perfect viewing point. Entry Cost All tickets $110 - per person
