The Opening Ceremony kicks off the 16-day celebration of Broome's vibrant culture, exploring the unique history and rich multicultural tapestry of the community through an exciting array of events! Join them at Town Beach to celebrate the official opening of Shinju Matsuri with a special Yawuru "Welcome to Country", speeches and a variety of performances, before the traditional of Waking of Sammy the Dragon.
