CUBAN Guitar & Tres Workshop

This workshop is open to all and introduces the fundamentals of both Cuban guitar and the Cuban tres. Participants will explore the essence of Cuban music, focusing on the crucial role of montunos and the foundation of syncopation, a key element in Cuban son. They will also cover clave rhythms, basic chord progressions, and how these elements shape the unique sound of Cuban music. Through sound examples, audiovisuals, and hands-on sessions, participants will gain practical experience in these foundational techniques.
