Famous for their larger-than-life folk festivals over the last two decades, Woodfordia presents a programme to be loved by the whole time with two incredible songwriters and performers, Emily Barker and Charlie A'Court. Bridgetown born Emily Barker is no stranger to the sharing tales in venues throughout WA. Hailed as an Australian PJ Harvey, this release marks Barkers first album in four years. Touring alongside Emily Barker is Canadian Charlie A'Court. Fresh from a tour of the East Coast, they are thrilled to bring Charlie out West. Built with a mighty voice, fierce guitar work and contemporary songwriting, A'Court has always been recognised for exploring his musical horizons. Growing up in the deep forests north of his hometown of Truro, Nova Scotia, Charlie spent his youth playing among the trees and listening to his father's record collection. The rugged and rural countryside offered a calming isolation from the outside world where Charlie could explore his musical playground.
