Kimberley Challenge

Embark on the ultimate 15-day Kimberley Challenge with Outback Initiatives, where adventure meets the extraordinary. Test your limits in a pristine wilderness, conquering challenges with a small, intimate team. Discover the raw beauty of the outback while creating unbelievable memories. You will be met in the remote town of Kununurra where you’ll be transferred to the base camp. There you’ll meet the rest of your team and undergo 3 days of training and expedition preparation followed by 5 days foot expedition over the Carr Boyd mountains and 3.5 days water expedition on the mighty Ord River. The highly experienced team will provide instruction on safety, navigation – map to ground reading and compass work, bush tucker, environmental awareness, canoe handling and water safety, communications including satellite phone training, and medical emergency training. They’ll cover routes, challenges, expedition planning and team management to assist with a successful and enjoyable experience.
